Despite everything she put him through, Hugh Hefner, 86, has become engaged AGAIN to 26-year-old Playboy bunny Crystal Harris

Harris ran off from the Playboy Mansion in June 2011 ... just five days before their big day, she then tried to pawn her engagement ring and fight the octogenarian for custody of their dog. 
But there's no fool like an old fool, some might say, and according to TMZ, it's all on for keeps this time with a New Year's Eve wedding scheduled.
They report: 'Harris and Hef are better than ever these days, since Harris moved back into the Playboy Mansion earlier this year. 
'We're told the couple have worked out all their previous problems and decided recently they want to try and get married again.'

According to their sources: 'Harris feels the time she spent apart from Hefner really taught her how to be independent and stand on her own two feet, something she felt she needed.'
Traditional etiquette says that if the bride-to-be ditches the groom before they walk down the aisle she should give back the engagement ring.
But Harris not only kept the three carat diamond ring worth an estimated $90,000, but a Bentley too after leaving her former fiance Hugh Hefner at the alter. 
To add insult to injury, the runaway bride wanted custody of their dog Charlie as well.
Shortly after Hefner and Harris ended their engagement in June 2011, the Playboy mogul said Harris let him keep Charlie, their shared Cavalier King Charles spaniel.
'We both love the puppy,' Hefner told People magazine. 'I told her if she wants to keep the ring and the Bentley, then maybe I can keep the puppy. I hope we will work it out.'
Hefner, who still insists he 'missed a bullet' by not tying the knot with Harris also added: 'The puppy's valuable, but not $100,000 worth.'

Harris called off the nuptials at the 11th hour announcing her decision on her website.
'I have decided to end my engagement with Hef,' she wrote. 'I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.'
She then went on to party in Vegas on the planned day of the wedding and gave a radio interview in which she said: 'I’m not turned on by Hef. He doesn’t really take off his clothes. I’ve never seen Hef naked.'
But Hefner refused to hit back, simply saying: 'The breakup is a heartbreaker, but better now than after the marriage.'
'After all is said and done, staying single is probably the best,' he posted on his Twitter account.

Looks like Jake Pavelka is putting his bachelor days behind him, with the reality star spotted showing Kristen Chenoweth around his hometown.The pair had been seen going out to dinner earlier this month in Hollywood setting the rumour mill into overdrive, but now it seems the couple are making it official with a getaway to Texas.

The Tony Award-winning actress, 44, and the much younger pilot, 34, were spotted sharing a meal at a tiny cafe near Jake's home in Highland Village.
According to TMZ - who has a photograph of the date - while the pair stopped short of kissing in public, they did not tried to hide their affection and were holding hands.
'They were very attentive to one another,' a witness told TMZ.
Looking very happy, Kristen was photographed while having an animated conversation with her younger man.
There is exactly ten years between the pair - the Wicked musical star is 44 while Jake is 34.
And this is not the first time the singer has dipped her toe into the cougar pond.

In 2009 she was also linked to Prison Break star Lane Garrison - who is 12 years younger than her.

The pair reportedly dated following Lane's release from prison after serving less than two year of a 40 month sentence for vehicular manslaughter.

He first appeared as a suitor in the reality dating show The Bachelorette but was voted off before being bought back as The Bachelor on which he proposed to Vienna Girardi.

The pair had a very public break up with each of the reality stars doing multiple interviews blaming one another for the break up.

It has been a rough year for Kristen who was seriously injured on the set of the Good Wife in July.

'Basically, a big lighting thing, CBS said (it) fell on me, but it’s also attached to medal rods,' the actress said said on Live! With Kelly and Micheal.

'So that fell, and it hit me, knocked me out, knocked me in the face then slammed me down to the ground.'

'The back of my head got hit on a curb. I was out cold. I have a skull fracture, a rib issue and a neck issue and a hip issue. I’m just issue-ridden.

It seems her toyboy fiance is making Denise Welch feel younger than her years.

The Loose Women star, 54, was seen leaving an IVF clinic with her 39-year-old fiance Lincoln Townley in Manchester last week.

And Denise, who already has two children with ex-husband Tim Healy, was photographed in a Sunday newspaper walked arm-in-arm with her younger man after their appointment.

 A friend of the actress told the Sunday Mirror: 'Denise has told me the only problem with the age difference between her and Lincoln is that they can’t have kids.
'I know Denise would love to be able to give Lincoln a baby and the challenge of coping with a newborn at her age wouldn’t faze her at all. But there are all sorts of ways they might be able to do that to make their happiness complete – through IVF, adoption or even surrogacy. 
'I know she has a cousin who works in an IVF clinic in Liverpool and it is something she has thought about. Den and Lincoln have a very special bond and are both great parents. So it would be lovely if it happened for them.'

The former Coronation Street star and fiance Lincoln got engaged earlier this year and Denise is said to want to have children with her beau despite being classed as an older mother by some.

If she goes ahead with IVF, she may pay up to £3,000 per cycle of the treatment which helps women conceive successfully.

In May, she joked about having a baby together: 'We have spoken slightly tongue-in-cheek about IVF, having kids together, but I’m 97, and had my last baby when I was 83, so, realistically, I don’t think this is going to happen.'

And Denise may be able to call on the help of her ex-husband Tim if she welcomes a new addition to her family - she recently revealed the pair were still good friends and that she will be spending Christmas with her former flame.

The German supermodel was seen at a Christmas fair with her four children in Beverly Hills on recently and appeared to be in a very festive mood indeed. 

The 39-year-old even bought two cute reindeers made out of little logs of wood for her two boys Johan, six, and Henry, seven.

Klum was seen smiling as she browsed through the trinkety shops and at one point bend down to whisper something to her daughter Leni, eight. 

Klum began a relationship with her former bodyguard a few months ago and ex-husband Seal, who she split from in January, caused shock waves when he publicly accused her of dating 'the help'.

She also has a third child with singer Seal, 49, a daughter called Lou, three.

She has said however that she trusts Martin 'absolutely' with her family. 

Over the Thanksgiving holiday Klum also got right into the thick of things, posting a series of Twitter pictures of her feast. 

However she was back to her strict body maintenance regime the day after and was seen going on a rigorous hike with her dogs.

The Italian actress was seen openly flirting with a mystery man while they shopped for jewellery in Venice Beach, California, on Tuesday and the chemistry - at least on her part - was plain to see. 
As the pair chatted on the pavement the 34-year-old beauty playfully combed her new man's hair then coyly posed with her legs crossed as they chatted on the street.

The new guy looked bemused when Canalis combed his locks and was seen smirking with his hood up and a juice in his hand. 
She looked vampish in her jeans, spike-heeled boots and skimpy vest and she wore her glossy brunette hair down. 
Canalis also had a taupe leather jacket with her - as well as the green comb. 
Her partner was much more dressed down and looked surfer chic in cut off joggers, a hoodie and lace-less trainers.
